Emily Cooperative Telephone Company d/b/a Tremolo Communications is seeking prospective candidates to run for a position on the Board of Directors representing the Fifty Lakes District and Fairfield District. The candidate for the Fifty Lakes District must reside in the City of Fifty Lakes and be a member of the cooperative. The candidate for Fairfield District must reside in Fairfield Township and be a member of the cooperative. A member is anyone that has an active phone or internet account with the cooperative.

A director of the Cooperative shall among other things:

• Assume a fiduciary duty to the Cooperative.
• Possess the minimum knowledge and skills necessary to direct the affairs of a cooperative.
• Be willing to devote such time and effort to the duties of a director as may be necessary.

Members of the Board of Directors are responsible for representing the Cooperative membership and for developing strategies, policies, and objectives for the Cooperative.
